Houston We Have A Problem

June 16 (Day 67)

So it seems like my baby acne isn't baby acne....it's ECZEMA!!!!

And my poor baby looks like he's in some pain...itchy pain that is. Fro dry scaly skin to red and patchy discoloring of the skin it's not a pretty site. And the poor thing has cradle cap too so no pictures anytime soon. Yes I know it's vain but my baby ...my rules lol. I have however realized that the key to controlling the dryness is to lotion several times a day using a non- fragrant lotion. My choice is Aveeno and it's working well. I use the shampoo and body wash as well. Less baths help as well as the pediatrician says it's not the water it's the shampoo and washes that dry the skin out. So we shall see

June 11 (Day 62)

We finally got a smile! And then it was gone! Seems like my baby Cameron smiles only when he wants to..but at least I got the first one on camera. A 2 month old is full of energy and life. Chuckles and drool, and scooting. And the best is yet to come

Heads up

June 9 (Day 60)

So Cameron is moving up in life! He's holding his head up high and looking around. Tummy time is his favorite time of the day!! I'm finally opening and using my baby shower gifts ...yay!

We are 2 months!! We made it! So much to look forward to ...shots shots and more shots! Poor little thing has no idea what ahead ...

Cameron's cooing and drooling and is so adorable I thank God for him daily!

Vacations Over

May 22 (Day 42)

So I've had my 6 weeks check up and I've been given the go ahead to get back to life. For me that means back to fashion ..

I got my first gig to dress a panel of women for the hit TV One show R&B Divas for their reunion show ...but it's out of town...for a week. I'm instantly panicked because I won't have enough milk for that period if time and I don't want to go to formula ...

So it's official..Cameron and I will be taking our first flying trip out of state. My only worry is he hasn't had his shots yet!! After talking to the doctor and reading a million mommy blogs I feel ok with the decision and were going!

First stop was Atlanta and he did great ..slept the whole time and never knew what happened! Airline was awesome and accommodating with the free carrier policy. Next stop NYC and it went smoothly! Mema met us there to see her grandson for the first time and be my personal nanny.

Can't lie it was a lot traveling with a 2 month old but I'm made up of many great women that came before me who worked and the show must go on!
